This week most of us will be celebrating Thanksgiving with a huge meal, family time, and football! Maybe you’ll be one to get up at 3 am to shop on “Black Friday”! However you will be spending your holiday week, we here at Beyond Bath Time hope it’s filled with thankfulness!
But it also means we’re one holiday closer to Christmas and for me that means my house will turn red and green!
This week our Christmas prep will look at decorations!
A few years back I deep a deep purge of my house! I went though every nook and cranny of my house! It felt good and after a huge yard sale my house felt lighter! (That process could be another series of posts!)
That Christmas I went through my 8 boxes of Christmas decorations! Yes, eight boxes for a very modest size home! I realized I had WAY TOO much!
That Christmas I gave away (to newlyweds who were looking for their own Christmas decorations!) three full boxes of Christmas decorations! The decorations I gave away we’re mostly things I never used!
As you begin to put aside Thanksgiving and move on to Christmas take serious inventory of your Christmas decorations and see if there is any way you can bless a newlywed couple (or others who may not have as many Christmas decorations) with some items that never find space in your home!
